About The Fuss

The Fuss is a dynamic ska, rocksteady, and early reggae band hailing from Washington, D.C.

Drawing from the sensibilities of 1960’s Jamaican and British mod music, their sound is comprised of 3-part female harmonies, a 3-piece horn section, and 4-piece rhythm section. The Fuss puts a modern slant on these classic genres.

Since the band formed in 2014 and they’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with The Skatalies, The Toasters, The Pietasters, Eastern Standard Time, The Interrupters, Save Ferris, and many more.

The band is headed back to the studio to record a new album in 2017.
